what: summit mt baldy the easy way

when: sat nov 7th at 8:00 A.M.

how to get there:  from the 210 fwy head north on mountain rd about 4.2 miles turn right onto mt baldy rd and travel 6.4 miles, turning left and staying on mt baldy rd go another 2.5 miles to 

what to bring: water, good hike shoes or boots, lite jacket, snacks, sun screen, extra socks, mole skin. water

distance: about 6 miles, round trip

difficulty: semi strenuous to strenuous ( please know your hiking abilities) even though we are taking the ski lift this is still a difficult hike.

time: about 4 hrs of hiking , more like 4.5 to 5 with lunch and ski lift ride

hike type: out and back

elevation gain: 2100 ft  

whats the plan: we will meet in the parking lot at the bottom of the ski lifts. take the ski lift up to baldy notch. from there we will take the devils backbone trail 2.9 miles to mt baldy summit, we can hang out, have some snacks, take some pictures, then head back down the backbone trail to baldy notch restaurant, we can use our groupon vouchers to have lunch. then take the lifts back down 

cost:  (Please note that parking is $5).
